Aviv Gruber

Dr. Aviv Gruber is the Data Science Team Lead at Rekor, where he leads the development and productization of machine learning use cases on Amazon SageMaker. He also guides the team's research initiatives, helping centralize and align data science efforts across the organization.

Outside of Rekor, Aviv is an active member of the Laboratory for AI, Machine Learning, Business & Data Analytics (LAMBDA) at Tel Aviv University and teaches the Computer Integrated Manufacturing course in the university's Department of Industrial Engineering.

Prior to joining Rekor, Aviv held data science and engineering roles at global technology leaders—including Intel, CyberArk, BMT, and Huawei—as well as at high-growth unicorn startups such as SparkBeyond and Fabric.

His research focuses on the application of targeted Bayesian network learning (TBNL) in fields such as predictive maintenance, supply chain optimization, system lifecycle cost modeling, cloud infrastructure and management, software-defined networking (SDN), and nuclear engineering.
