Deb Hennessy

Deb Hennessy is a strategic Human Resources executive, coach, and trusted business partner with 30+ years of experience driving organizational growth, transformation, and people strategy alignment.

She joined Rekor Systems in January 2022 as the company’s first Chief People Officer, leading global HR strategy in partnership with the Board of Directors and executive leadership team. In this role, she supports business growth, including M&A, while strengthening organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent retention, and a culture grounded in purpose, trust, and inclusion.

Her HR leadership experience spans AI and technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and the public sector, including senior HR leader roles at Ciena, Microsoft, ACS, and TeleCorp PCS, an AT&T Wireless affiliate.

Deb holds a BS in Business Administration and maintains both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. She is passionate about developing and empowering leaders and building high-performing global cultures where people and businesses thrive.
